💚 Happy Veterinary Technician Week! 💚

This week is all about our amazing tech team — the compassionate, hardworking, behind-the-scenes heroes who keep our hospital running and our patients safe. 🐾

Our techs are the ones holding your pets during exams, comforting them through tough moments, monitoring anesthesia during surgery, running lab work, assisting doctors, and somehow still finding time to give every patient extra love and care. 🐶🐱✨

We’re so grateful for everything you do — your skill, your heart, and your dedication to every single patient who walks through our doors. Medford Animal Hospital wouldn’t be the same without you. 💚

We closed the hospital a little early tonight so we could host dinner and game night for our staff 😍

🚨 HEAT STROKE WARNING FOR DOGS 🚨

With the recent record high temps we’ve been having, the risk of life-threatening heat stroke in dogs has been on the rise!

If it’s 75° or hotter, especially with humidity, pavement temperatures can burn paws and dogs can overheat FAST — even on short walks.

⚠️ Watch for these symptoms:
- Excessive panting or drooling
- Wobbly walking or collapse
- Vomiting or diarrhea
- Bright red or pale gums
- Lethargy or unresponsiveness

If you see ANY of these, head to the ER IMMEDIATELY. Time matters!
💧 Always walk during cooler hours
🌳 Choose grass or shaded areas
🚘 NEVER leave dogs in hot cars - even for a minute
