💡 It’s Insurance Awareness Day! 💡

When it comes to your pet’s health, being prepared for the unexpected can make all the difference. Pet insurance helps cover medical expenses, giving you peace of mind knowing that your furry friend will always get the care they need, no matter the situation, but it is a little different than health insurance for people - here’s how it works:

- Choose a plan: There are many options available that cover everything from routine care to emergencies and everything in between. Research insurance options, providers, and work with an insurance representative to make sure you are getting exactly what you want!
- Visit your vet: Your pet gets the care they need, and you pay the bill up front.
- Submit a claim: After your visit, submit the claim to your insurance provider, and they’ll reimburse you for eligible expenses!

As we get ready to celebrate, it’s important to remember that fireworks can be stressful for our furry friends. If your pet needs extra support during the festivities, now’s the time to start preparing!

✔️ Start using Adaptil or Feliway: These calming pheromones work best when introduced early.
✔️ Refill medications: If your pet has a prescription for anxiety, be sure to call in for refills ASAP to avoid last-minute stress.
✔️ Schedule an appointment: If your pet was particularly frightened last year, we can discuss additional options to help them feel more comfortable.

🥕 Happy Eat Your Vegetables Day! 🥦
Veggies aren’t just good for us—they can be healthy (and tasty!) snacks for pets too! Many dogs and even some cats enjoy treats like:

🧡 Carrots
💚 Green beans
🧡 Sweet potatoes
💚 Zucchini
🧡 Peas

But be sure to skip the onions, garlic, mushrooms, and raw potatoes—those can be harmful to pets.
Always serve veggies plain (no butter, salt, or seasoning), and ask us if you're unsure about a new snack!
