Don't forget to get those lumps and bumps checked at your annual visit and if concerned keep note of the size and shape of the lump and if it changes over time. We took some proactive measures with Phantom removing some lumps we have been keeping an eye on and sending them out for histology. Phantom was very happy to get pets from the Kirby crew🐾

Reminder! We are heading into *peak fireworks* season, now is the time to refill medications for your pet and start freezing some Kong toys and making a 'safe quiet place' for those cats and dogs (and all other pets). Do not wait until July 1st! Make sure your pet is on a leash if outside at dusk with ID tags on.🐾

Today is a scorcher! 🥵☀️
Be careful of hot footing for your four legged friends (cement, tar, stone, and sand)! If you need to take your dog out on a paved area for a walk try to do it in the early mornings and later evenings.🐾
Keep cool out there!

Summer Tip! When taking your pups on a walk on cement, tar, or asphalt make sure to take into consideration the temprature and heat of the ground. If you can't keep the back of your hand ont the ground for 5 or more seconds it is too hot and may burn your dogs paw pads.
