Say hello to Shawn! 😍 This little guy is the ultimate social butterfly—he greets everyone like a long-lost friend and thinks snuggles should be a full-time job. He’s lived happily with cats and dogs, loves exploring trails, strolling the neighborhood, and tagging along to fun events. Sadly, his elderly owner could no longer care for him, so now he’s looking for a family who’ll include him in all of life’s fun. If you’re looking for a happy, playful, all-around good boy to be your sidekick, Shawn’s your guy!

Margo Update (adopted 1/29/2025)

"Margo has been the BEST DOG! She loves to cuddle with her three kiddos. She is the perfect combination of playful and calm. She wants to sleep with her people every night. Margo has been such a blessing in our family. She is up for ANY ADVENTURE, even though she may bark on the smallest ant she sees while there . 😂

We are SO GRATEFUL to the AAR family for introducing us to our sweet, perfect Margo. She is the best and is SO LOVED!"

From his family: ‘He is doing really great. Fit right in. He enjoys playing with both his sisters, Zinnia and Basil (one year old tuxedo girls). He’ll sit on Basil’s back like a baby possum. She completely tolerates it. It’s cute. Very affectionate little guy. I have to wrap him in my sweater like a baby sling so I can get work done during the day!’

From her family: We got your “gotcha day” letter in the mail. Brought tears to my eyes!! I love our little baby so much. We changed her name from “Flute” to “Winnie!” The day I brought her home, we snuggled & watched Winnie the Pooh & she was eyes glued to the TV. She is adventurous, playful, and loves to get into food packages! (We think she is part raccoon😂). I am so grateful to AAR for pairing me with my girl. ❤️’

Scruffy Pupdate (adopted 7/19/2024)

"We feel so blessed that we have a little Beau Dean (Scruffy) in our lives. He is such a happy and active dog. He loves going on walks and he loves laying on your lap and being petted and he plays with so many toys.

He has a new brother that we got from a different rescue. His name is Roscoe and they are best friends. I am including a picture of Beau and his brother Roscoe. Thank you for the wonderful service you provide to our community ❤️"
