Can you spare a few dollars to help us out? We definitely and desperately need to purchase another 10x10 heavy duty dog run/kennel in order to take in and care for more wildlife, allowing us to raise them through release. The Amazon wish list has been updated to give an example of what we are needing. (Pic of two of the older bobcats in our care)

🦌 This is completely normal behavior for a deer fawn, and human intervention is unnecessary.

Fawns are born nearly scentless so predators cannot find them easily. They also have spots that serve as camouflage and are able to stand soon after being born, but as a protective tactic will remain hidden.

Bigger girl discovered her love for the cat wheel at wee hours in the morning this morning. And then smaller girl had to follow suit. They have been on it much of the day. And are being put in a time out from it tonight so I can sleep without hearing it all.night.long. They can have it back in the morning.
If you rehab foxes these cat wheels are great. My older outside foxes absolutely love theirs.

When they think they’re sneaky and innocent of the mischief you walk in on.

With a slow introduction the gray fox that was flown in on Saturday has made a new “furever” friend. They will be raised and released together once they are old enough. Even though she is bigger/older than her friend, her friend definitely wears the pants when it comes to toys. The littler fox is recovering from a paralysis issue and her story will be coming soon.

Our baby bobcats recently got to meet the one-year-old bobcats still in rehab!

In the coming weeks, these youngsters will be housed next to the older bobcats, where they can see, hear, and smell one another without direct contact. This arrangement keeps the babies safe while allowing them to learn important wild behaviors from their older neighbors.

For now, the kittens are staying in the “kid-friendly” side of the enclosure, designed to keep them safe while they’re still developing their climbing and coordination skills. As they grow, they’ll graduate to the larger side, where they’ll have plenty of opportunities to climb, leap, and build the strength and confidence they’ll need for life in the wild.

As part of their rehabilitation, all of our foxes and bobcats receive vaccinations. These babies will get their first set before moving outside full-time, helping ensure they stay healthy as they continue their journey toward release.

Every step brings them closer to returning to the wild where they belong! 🐾

New babies. I told Gemini to make a cute pic of them in the forest. This is what I got lol
