Our recent CERF clinic was the largest one yet at Isthmus Veterinary Care! 🩺🐾
We saw an incredible variety of patients throughout the day, including 6-week-old Australian Shepherd puppies Wither, Rauager, and Phantom, and R***r, a 2-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.

✨ highway rescue to fur-ever home ✨

This brave little kitten was found on a highway on-ramp with a painful eye infection. She spent the day “helping out” at Isthmus Vet Care, and it didn’t take long for one of our own staff members to fall in love. 💙

We’re happy to share that she stole the heart of Laura, who has since adopted her. Now named Astrid, she’s gone from terrified to spoiled and is settling into her new life as a cherished member of the family. 🐾💫

The Isthmus Vet Care fam had a blast at the 9th Annual Puptoberfest this past weekend! 🐾💙 A big thank you to everyone who stopped by for nail trims or microchips in support of Occupaws Guide Dog Association—a local non-profit that provides service dogs to visually impaired individuals in our community.

We’re honored to be one of the veterinary care teams for these super-hero pups and the dedicated handlers and trainers who help them thrive. 🌟

🐾 Meet Dr. Rachel Hagenow – the newest member of the Isthmus Vet Care team! 🐶🐱

We're thrilled to welcome Dr. Hagenow to our clinic! Originally from southern Wisconsin, she brings years of experience in emergency/critical care, soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, and preventative care. After spending time practicing on the East Coast, she’s back in her favorite city – Madison – and ready to care for your beloved pets. 💕
