Taking a quick mid day romp before I go off to the vet with JuJu. Its pretty warm out here, but we have a great shady spot to play in. My little bud, blue collar or Grant, is the one im holding.

Im not that great with litter themes, and I dont think I explained the one im using here. Its "Facing the Giants" one of my favorite movies. Its all about love, faith, supporting one another...its just has a lot of happy feels that I really enjoy and need. Its a football movie, and they do face a team called the Giants, but its also a metaphor for facing other giants in our lives like fear and failure. Go watch it. I love all of the Kendrick brothers movies.

Morning romp time. Jess is the best Great grandpa. He has been playing like this for half an hour. Its great education for the puppies, being socialized with a friendly dog, getting small corrections. Its good for their confidence to learn the rules of interacting in a friendly way. Good boy, Jess.

And oops....while filling their pool I learned that they already enjoy chasing the water from the hose. Hahaha. Poodles do love that.

Im so behind in my brags. 😄

River earned his UKC Emerald Grand Champion title. Hes my 2nd 3rd generation gemstone. He'll be available for stud early July if all goes well- anyone want to go for a 4th generation? 😀. We are not pursuing higher titles. He is retired from the UKC conformation ring.

I got the research done on Sylvie's Elite Grand Champion Weight Pull title. I'd been saying she was the 2nd standard poodle to ever earn the title, so i wanted to back that up. Lol. So indeed she is the second overall ( her sire, Jess is the first), and the first female standard poodle to earn it. She did it in a little less than 50 pulls, and before her 3rd birthday. She is a badass poodle. ☺️❤️

Although we wont make it to premier due to puppies, Sylvie was the #2 multi Standard poodle in top 10 breed points over the year. She was #6 in the gun dog group. We are so very proud of her.

In other news- we have now had the pleasure of meeting 2 of our families for our Willow x Alex litter. I am so very grateful for the wonderful homes that we have for these puppies. Their happiness and being loved and cared for is the most important thing. Thank you so much guys!! ❤️❤️❤️

Our Willow x Alex puppies are 4 weeks old today and doing great. They had their first outdoor romp today and tuckered out quickly. Their outings will be longer and more frequent as they get older and stronger. The sun and heat take some getting used to.

For the fun of it I added some video of us actually getting puppy pictures. It is not always easy. LOL. So many thanks to my amazing husband, Greg, for always supporting my shenanigans.

One of our puppy homes came for a visit yesterday so these guys have had a busy weekend.

They've started on lapping food from a bowl this week and are really enjoying that . Sweet puppies!

The puppies moved to their playroom today. Everyone is doing great. Learning to lap their food from a bowl. Now the fun starts. They'll adjust to this big change and we'll start going outside soon. Doing face/butt shaves and nail trims today. Hopefully bathes tomorrow and more pics after.

I cant believe River is almost TWO. Final health testing is scheduled for June 30.
