Meet “Sussie”, a female DMH who is around a year old. She was originally found to be a stray but unfortunately cannot be kept by the finder due to her not liking her other cats. The finder did get her de-wormed as well as flea medication before bringing her to the shelter. We know that she does well in both indoor and outdoor settings but tends to enjoy being a lap cat more than anything. As stated earlier, she will need to be in a home where she is the only animal. Sussie is available for adoption on 10/17/2026!

If you’re interested in adopting her, please contact MCAC at 231-843-8644 or come in during office hours.

Meet “Snuggles” a neutered DMH who is around 3 years old. He is fully declawed and lives up to his name. He enjoys interacting with anyone he meets and would be a great indoor cat for somebody. He does like to be the only animal though, so his future home must be pet free. He also has shown signs of skin allergies that appear to be associated with anxiety and an allergy to fleas. Snuggles is waiting patiently for his future forever home and is available for adoption on 10/17/2026.

If you’re interested in adopting him, please contact MCAC at 231-843-8644 or come in during office hours!
