❤🐾 What's the only thing cuter than a puppy? 🐾❤
A litter of puppies!
Yesterday, these precious babies came to see Dr. Dean for their puppy shots. The front desk can't let the back have all the fun! Luckily, there were plenty of puppy snuggles to go around.
These are Cavalier King Charles Spaniels (a big name for a little dog!). They get their name from the 17th century monarch, King Charles I, who had a special fondness for toy spaniels. After loving on these puppies, we can certainly understand why. 😍

🎉🐾 Happy Friday!
Yesterday, Dr. Bastiana had 8 of the cutest patients we've ever seen!
These little guys are Cane Corso's. They may be cute little wiggly potatoes right now, but they are going to grow up to be BIG! Once full grown, it's not uncommon for these incredible dogs to weigh over 100 lbs. 👀 They're an ancient breed, with lineage going all the way back to ancient Rome. "Cane Corso" roughly translates to 'bodyguard dog,' which is a great description of this breed!
But for now, let's enjoy the wiggles, mischief, and puppy breath. ❤

❤🐾 Today, we pause to honor the heroes of 9/11- both human and animal. The brave search-and-rescue dogs who worked in the aftermath remind us of the incredible bond we share with animals, and how they bring light even in our darkest days.

As a veterinary clinic, it's our privilege to care for these companions who give so selflessly. May we carry their spirit of loyalty, love, and service forward, building a tomorrow filled with kindness and hope.
