Meet Gypsy, a sweet pup who has been living with megaesophagus, a condition that makes it difficult for food to move into the stomach properly. She was seen through our ER for not wanting to eat and having a bit of trouble breathing. Our team discovered she had pneumonia, a complication that can sometimes occur with megaesophagus.

She spent a few nights in the hospital receiving care from our dedicated ER and Internal Medicine teams. During her stay, ER technician Jess took extra time to sit with Gypsy upright to help her eat—a crucial part of managing megaesophagus and keeping her comfortable.

We’re happy to share that Gypsy is now back home with her family and feeling much better! We’re sending her all our best as she continues to recover. 💜

🐾 Big day for Fig! 🐶💉
This sweet pup got spayed, and she’s already on the road to recovery. She’s being such a brave girl and getting all the snuggles (and treats!) she deserves. 💕 She was a Clinic favorite, and had some extra TLC when waking up from her procedure.

We’re so proud of her and grateful to the amazing vet staff who took great care of our little bean. Here's to a smooth healing process and lots of cozy naps ahead. 🐾✨

🐾 Clooney's Journey: A Feline Story of Courage & Care 🐾

Meet Clooney, a remarkably handsome feline who recently had a bit of a health scare. He came to us for an evaluation with suspected hyperaldosteronism, a condition that can affect his adrenal glands. Our incredible Radiology Team performed an abdominal ultrasound and discovered a well-defined mass near his left adrenal gland.

With a heart murmur and chronic kidney disease, Clooney had some additional risks going into surgery. Thanks to the close collaboration between our Internal Medicine and Surgical Teams, he underwent a successful left adrenalectomy.

We are thrilled to share that Clooney is now recovering beautifully and soaking up all the love from his wonderful owner! 🐱❤️

🐾 Patient Spotlight: Spooky the Resilient! 🐾

Meet Spooky, our favorite sleek and sassy black cat who’s been part of our clinic family for years. 💕 He’s no stranger to the vet life—and we’ve been honored to be by his side through quite the journey!

🖤 In 2016, Spooky had a femoral head osteotomy and came through like a champ.
🖤 In January 2025, he battled a urinary obstruction and was diagnosed with hyperaldosteronism (yes, he's an overachiever).
🖤 Most recently, in April 2025, he underwent a left adrenalectomy—and once again showed us all what a little fighter he is!

Despite everything, Spooky remains the coolest cat on the block. 🐈‍⬛✨ His resilience, sass, and sweet soul inspire us every time he struts through our doors (with just a hint of attitude, of course).

🌸 Meet Clover! 🌸
This sweet Pekingese mix recently came to us with a complete CCL tear—ouch! 😢 But thanks to our skilled surgical team, Clover underwent a successful lateral fabellar suture procedure and is now on the road to recovery! 🐾🩺

She’s healing like a champ and has the absolute cutest support system at home—her kitty nurse Fern, who's been keeping a close (and very fluffy) eye on her. 😻💕

Sending lots of love and gentle scratches to Clover as she continues to heal! 💕🐶🐱

🐾 Meet Magpie, the sweetest little kitty with a big personality! 💙

Magpie’s loving owner rushed him to our emergency service when he was straining to urinate — a serious and uncomfortable issue for our feline friends. After a thorough exam, radiographs, and an ultrasound, our team discovered that Magpie had an inflamed bladder and crystals in his urine. 😿

Thanks to quick action and expert care, Magpie is now on a prescription urinary diet and under the watchful eye of our internal medicine team. The best news? He loves his new food and is feeling so much better already — back to being his playful, happy self! 🐱💫

We’re so proud of this brave little guy and grateful to his family for recognizing the signs and getting him help quickly. 💛

Meet Mowgli — a beloved dog, local icon, and the heart of his owners’ racketball business (he even has a plaque at the bank!). 🐾

When Mowgli began showing signs of intermittent lameness, radiographs revealed a mediastinal mass. He was referred to our surgical team for a CT and thoracotomy to remove it.

Thanks to the incredible support and generosity of his racketball community, he was able to receive the surgery he needed. We’re happy to report that Mowgli is recovering well, and his family is beyond grateful for the care and love he received.

🐾 Maverick the Maine C**n 🐾
This handsome boy came to see us after his family noticed he was coughing overnight, hiding, and having difficulty breathing. Radiographs revealed that Maverick had pneumonia, and he was promptly placed on oxygen support and started on therapeutic medications.

Thanks to quick action and his fighting spirit, Maverick made a great recovery and was able to go home after just two days—breathing easier and feeling much better! 💙

We’re so proud of this brave boy and grateful for the love and care his family gives him. Get well soon, Maverick! 🐱💪

Happy World Veterinary Day!

Today and every day, we celebrate the passion, dedication, and love that veterinary professionals embody while caring for four-legged family members.

We're proud to be an AAHA-accredited hospital and to share their message honoring the incredible people in this field.

Thank you for all you do—your work truly makes a difference! 🐾🫶🐾

📅 Today is World Veterinary Day, and this year’s theme says it all: “Animal health takes a team.”

Behind every healthy pet and every thriving animal population is a village of dedicated professionals—veterinarians, veterinary technicians, nurses, client care teams, practice managers, specialists, researchers, and more.

We’re proud to honor the people who make animal care possible—not just those holding the stethoscope, but the entire team working tirelessly behind the scenes and beside the patient.

💛 Thank you for all you do—for animals, for their people, and for one another.
