Calling all volunteers! We're looking for as many helping hands for our final 2 days of moving our pet food bank across Louisville!

This has been a huge undertaking and we're almost done. Hours and locations are below.
Shoot us a text if you can help. We're in a time crunch and really need help. Volunteer as long as you'd like, we welcome you!

Confetti is looking for her forever home!! Confetti is a 4 month old, female, spayed DSH. She is up to date on vaccines and microchipped! This is what her foster mom had to.say about Confetti:

Our Pet Food Bank is moving this Saturday & Sunday (10/25 & 10/26 - 9AM–3:30PM) and we need all hands on deck! 💪

We’ll have two teams each day:
📦 One at our current location (loading & packing) Downtown Louisville Portland area
🏠 One at the new location (unloading & setup) Preston Hwy / Outer Loop area

Got a truck, SUV, or strong arms? You’re our hero! 🙌
Even a few hours helps — bring a friend and come be part of something that feeds thousands of pets in our community!

Dates: Saturday 10/25/25 & Sunday 10/26/25
Time: 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM
What to bring: Work gloves, comfy clothes, water, and your best teamwork spirit!

Say hello to little Ziggy. She's a spunky tabby who’s always up for a new adventure! Whether zooming up the tallest tower or leading her sisters in playful hijinks, ZigZag's presence lights up the room. She’s daringly confident. Having gotten her eyesight 2 days before her siblings, she took the lead and has no interest in reliquinshing it. This little lady is accustomed to sharing and has been raised with dogs. Although new to the harness, she has taken up shoulder cat journeys with zeal.

Pixel is ready for her forever home! Pixel is a female, 4 month old, spayed DSH. She is up to date on vaccines and microchipped! This is what her current foster mom had to say about Pixel:

"Pixel stands out with her striking half-calico, half-tabby coat—a unique beauty who’s as intriguing as she is lovely. While her sisters rush in for attention, Pixel prefers to watch before joining in and truly shines with gentle encouragement.

This sweet girl enjoys playtime at her own thoughtful pace, especially darting beneath furniture or chasing toys. After recent harness adventures, she’s shown she’s up for a challenge and ready to explore. Raised with other cats and dogs, Pixel will do well in a home with people and pets.

Hello NKL'ers! It's Moving Month!

As many of you already know, we're moving our Pet Food Bank to a new location and we're excited to start a new adventure in a new location that will maximize our helpful impact with the community.

This Saturday, the 11th, we're looking for as many extra hands as we can get to help packing up our left over supplies and equipment as we prepare for the physical move at the end of the month.
Volunteers needed between the hours of 11 AM and 3 PM at our old facility located at 2012 Northwestern Parkway, Louisville 40203.

If you can spare any amount of time, we sure would appreciate it!

‼️‼️FOSTER OR FOSTER TO ADOPT NEEDED‼️‼️ This handsome fellow, named Clark, needs a foster or foster to adopt home. He is an 18 month old ball of fur. He is a bichon frise/shih tzu mix. He is said to love everyone and does well with other dogs but has never been around cats or small children. Fill out an application on our website if youre interested in this guy!
