Do you know the reality of pet store supplier breeders? I do. I wish I didn’t. Please read and consider signing, and look for petitions and other opportunities to help ban the sale of animals everywhere.

Small animals like hamsters, guinea pigs, skinny pigs, birds, reptiles and fish, are bred in mills that are just as cruel as puppy mills. These animals have complex needs that are often ignored or overlooked.

It’s that time of year again. Molting season for rabbits as their winter coats come in 🧥 This is annoying to them, as you can imagine, so we recommend brushing the loose fur out, or taking your rabbits to an experienced groomer. and have been recommend to us by friends of the garden for rabbit grooming (and other bunny services). 🌻 We use the equine grooming tool pictured in the second photo. 🎀 Paulina is a blue French angora. She’s the fuzziest of all our bunnies 🐰

Diamond squished in the back between Wachiwi and Coo’s back end 🤣 So dramatic after baths yesterday. 18 guinea pig baths; 2 1/2 hours. Well, actually 17 and Coo. Coo is like bathing 2 piggies, and she also needs her hair brushed and trimmed afterward. 🎀 The big herd spent the day in the living room while I tore apart and rebuilt their entire enclosure and cleaned the room. That was a 14 hour day for The Mama Person 🤦🏻‍♀️😮‍💨

Bunny kisses. 😘 🐇 Chico comes to board with us for 2 weeks every year, and over the years, he and Vyloo have become sweethearts. 💕I think they both look forward to their visit. Vyloo obviously knows that her Chico is coming when she sees me building his condo next-door. She watches and waits expectantly for his arrival 🛬 Chico does have a 90 degree head tilt, but lives a happy life with all the love any animal could ask for, and the best care possible. He can binky and run very well despite his issue. 🌻
