Jacksonville residents who are on disability or social security...call them now for this amazing opportunity to get your pet fixed for free!

We’re proud to offer low-cost spay, and neuter services to support our community. At this time, we are prioritizing appointments for citizens who are disabled or receiving Social Security benefits. Once we’ve insured, these neighbors are served we will open additional appointment slots for all other community members. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to make this program, accessible and impactful for those who need it most.

Spay/Neuter appointments for December 2025 at our SW Little Rock clinic are now available for request!

While your pet is here for spay/neuter, we can also provide wellness services such as vaccination, testing and microchipping (rabies is required if no current proof).

Arkansans for Animals, Inc. is hiring a full-time veterinary assistant. Could this be you???

We are looking for the right person to add to our pack of veterinary assistants/techs for our Spay/Neuter clinic. This would be an average of 4 days a week for 40 hours (Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday).

MUST HAVE:
Experience with animals in a clinic or shelter setting (1 year minimum. Fear-free training a plus!)
A love for animals and an understanding of our mission to help end pet homelessness.
A respect for the community that needs our services to help their pets stay happy, healthy and home.
No fear of p**p or spicy kitties/doggos.
The ability to communicate respectfully with pet parents and keep client and pet information confidential.
Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted, bend and kneel frequently.
Reliable transportation.
Bilingual is preferred.

WHAT WE OFFER:
Competitive pay: $16-$18 per hour depending on experience (or more for a licensed vet tech).
Free Pet Wellness services for up to 4 of your pets.
Paid vacation and Holidays (including 2 weeks paid break for Christmas and New Year's).
