Ummmmm. 😳😳😳
You guys, I haven’t seen orders coming in like this since I had 7 employees and 2000sqft of work space. This week has been humbling and encouraging, and honestly a little intimidating seeing as the orders haven’t slowed down yet.
A heartfelt, teary-eyed THANK YOU is all I can manage right now 🥹 along with a desperate plea to bear with me! It’s just me and these two hands getting these orders filled (in about 300sqft 🤣) so processing times may be a little longer than usual.

Just a friendly reminder that you only have until Wednesday to redeem your rewards points!!!
Please note that when you login, it may take you to your Shop App login if you typically use that when you checkout. Be sure to login to your account on HLF to get into your rewards portal! Just click the rewards button on the lower left side of the site, and be sure to see the rewards minimums posted here as well. Many of you have messaged saying your reward codes aren’t working, and it’s usually because you are trying to use a higher value reward code on a lower value cart. I hope this answers a lot of your questions!!!

Happy Sunday, friends! 🥰
First, I want to thank everyone who came out and supported me at our pop-up yesterday. My heart is bursting!!! So many of you showed up to shop, sniff, pick up orders, and just say hi. It was overwhelming in the most wonderful way and such a positive way to transition into this next chapter. I’ve missed seeing and chatting with so many of you (and seeing your kids who were itty bitty babies last time I saw them!) and it really felt SO GOOD to hug and say “see you later” instead of goodbye. ❤️
I also want to thank those of you who have supported me from afar with online orders - HOLY MOLY. After an incredibly stressful/challenging spring & summer, this last week has shown me that my products and mission really actually matter to so many of you. This has been incredibly encouraging and has really helped confirm that I’m on the right track.
Once I’m all caught up with orders (hopefully by Tuesday!), I’ll begin moving my workshop back home. A year ago, this would have felt like a massive failure, but now it feels like a HUGE blessing and I truly can’t wait for the time and freedom it will bring for me and my family!

I’m getting lots of emails and messages from you guys asking when the retail site will officially be shut down and for more info on the bulk ordering option I mentioned yesterday!
I’ll be sharing a more detailed explanation of the upcoming closure/changes via social and email sometime in the next few days, but here is a quick overview!
The HLF website will be closing on August 20th, and we will no longer be taking regular retail orders after that. I am working on a new version of the site to reflect these changes, and moving forward we will only be offering:
- Bulk orders (6-12 piece minimums per scent - depending on the product - with special tiered discounts)
- Custom Orders (pick your own vessels, scents, labels, etc. - 12 piece minimum per scent & product)
- Wholesale Orders (for businesses only - must submit a Tax ID and CRT form)
- Fundraisers (no changes here!)
As I mentioned before, you’ll be able to shop most of our products locally at , as well as a few other retailers across the US! I will be listing those with links shortly!
🍂🌲FALL & CHRISTMAS:
We currently have our full fall collection available on the site, along with several best-selling winter/holiday scents we’ve carried over. I will be working on adding our NEW winter/holiday scents ASAP so you can shop those before we change everything over! But for those of you asking, yes! Christmas Tree is already available on the site.
I HIGHLY recommend swinging by the studio inside next Saturday August 16th from 10am-1pm to shop IN PERSON! Melissa and I will be there and can’t wait to see you! If you’re not local or you’re unavailable to shop with us that day, be sure to get your orders in online by the 20th and redeem all of those rewards points!

When I first began candle making in October of 2017, with a toddler and a 6-month old on my hip, my mission was to create a clean product that was safe for my whole family to enjoy. With young children at home, I was concerned about our air quality - especially since I loved to burn candles frequently.
After eight long months of sourcing, experimenting, testing, and perfecting my recipe, I launched Happy Little Flame in May of 2018.
Since then, the company has grown to include a variety of clean home fragrance products which are now available in over 70 stores across the US and Canada!
So, what makes our candles different?
Unlike most candles on the market, ours are made with all-natural soy & coconut waxes and contain ZERO additives, dyes, and phthalates.
By creating our products using minimal ingredients, we’ve been able to achieve a cleaner burn & higher level of exceptional fragrance than most soy candles on the market today. Instead of adding chemicals, additives, and more fragrance oil to our products to increase scent, burn time, and appearance (which is sadly industry standard), we’ve done the opposite. Our time, research, and efforts have resulted in the development of superior products that can be enjoyed by individuals and families, including those with allergies and sensitivities.
As we continue to grow, we promise to continue providing high-quality, CLEAN products by frequently testing/sourcing/updating our ingredients, and making sure they consistently meet our standards.
