Say hello to Oakley, the 17-week-old Leonberger puppy who’s already tipping the scales over 50 lbs! Talk about a glow-up! We’ve loved watching her grow during her puppy visits — they’re not only great for cuddles and photos, but also super important for keeping up with vaccinations, monitoring development, and making sure your pup is thriving every step of the way.

Puppyhood goes by fast, but with regular checkups, we can help ensure it’s a healthy and happy journey!

🐾 Meet Clark, the adorable flat-coated retriever, who visited us today at Greentree Animal Hospital! 🐶✨ Clark came in with his guardian, Nicole, to see Dr. Hai for some tummy troubles (diarrhea).

After all the excitement of being his usual crazy puppy self, he was so tired that he started dozing off while his owner gently held his head. 💤💕

We're happy to report that Clark is resting up and will be feeling better soon. Thanks for trusting us with your furry friend, Nicole! ❤️

🚨 **Teddy's Tasty Mistake!** 🚨

Meet Teddy, a mischievous young pup who learned the hard way that **silicone cupcakes aren’t actually food**! 🧁😬 Today,, he made an unexpected trip to Greentree Animal Hospital after snacking on one, and we had to induce vomiting to prevent a dangerous blockage (and possible surgery!).

Let’s just say… Teddy’s face says it all—instant regret.😅

Friendly reminder: Always keep non-edible “treats” out of reach of curious pups! 🐶❌

Although avian flu (H5N1) is affecting poultry and dairy cows in the United States, there are currently no human cases of bird flu in Lake County, Illinois. Avian flu viruses mainly infect and spread among wild migratory water birds and domestic poultry, some bird flu viruses can infect and spread to other animals as well.
