That's why we've invested in a new solution to make communicating with us, booking appointments, and accessing your pet's information easier than ever before! Introducing our new client engagement tool, Vello - here's what you can look forward to: Vello App & Web Experience: Now you can access your pets' appointment information, medical records, prescription information, review upcoming reminders, and request appointments with Vello. You can access from the mobile app in the Apple App Store, or via the web experience. Best of all, there's no username or password to remember, all your information is pre-loaded, and Vello will authenticate you via your mobile number or email address. Confirming Upcoming Appointments: You will receive email and text message reminders for upcoming appointments through Vello. Reminders include a link to confirm your appointment and preview instructions to make the most of the visit. Due Services Reminders: You will receive email and text message reminders for upcoming and overdue services like vaccinations and wellness exams; these include an easy link to schedule an appointment straight from the reminder. Two-Way Texting: For non-emergencies, now you can reach us by text message! Our SMS number is 816-327-1800.

Veterinary Center of Liberty is closed today in observance of Memorial Day. ❤️🤍💙

Today we honor and remember the brave heroes who served our country and made the ultimate sacrifice.

We hope you and your pets have a safe and peaceful holiday. 🐾 We will reopen tomorrow during normal business hours

Due to the high volume of boarders over Memorial Day week, we are requesting no non-boarding dogs for Dogs Unlimited Daycare on Friday, May 22nd or Tuesday, May 26th.

We are incredibly proud to celebrate Dr. Lori Rohlfing for receiving the Liberty Sertoma Club’s 2025-2026 Service to Mankind Award! 🏆🐾

Dr. Lori may believe her work mainly impacts four-legged lives, but anyone who knows her understands just how many people she has touched through her compassion, dedication, and service — both here in our community and across the world. From caring for pets in underserved areas to improving the lives of the families who love them, her kindness reaches far beyond the exam room.

Congratulations, Dr. Lori, on this well-deserved honor. We are so lucky to have you as part of our Veterinary Center of Liberty family! ❤️

Initially Dr. Lori Rohlfing was going to turn down the Liberty Sertoma Club’s 2025-2026 Service to Mankind award because she believes that as a veterinarian, her impact came more from aiding the four-legged rather than the two-legged. We had some very special helpers at the clinic for Take Your Child to Work Day! 🐾💙

Kimber and Troy—along with a few other awesome kids who didn’t want to be in the photos—got a behind-the-scenes look at what a day in a veterinary clinic is really like. From observing a dental procedure (including an extraction!) to reviewing x-rays of a cat with a bladder stone, they truly got the full experience.

They also became junior scientists for the day, checking out different specimens under the microscope 🔬, and jumped right in to help with walking pets and keeping kennels clean and cozy.

We loved sharing what we do with such curious and enthusiastic future animal lovers. Who knows… we may have a few future veterinary professionals in the making! 🐶🐱✨

Jan, Emmaly, Michelle, Ky, Margie, and Sydney — you are the first friendly faces our clients see and the calming voices they hear when they need us most. From juggling busy phones and schedules to comforting worried pet parents, you handle it all with compassion, patience, and a whole lot of heart.

Thank you for being the glue that holds our days together, for your kindness to every client and pet, and for the countless ways you go above and beyond. We truly couldn’t do what we do without you!
