The girls and I pulled off a Teaberry Shuffle yesterday!
I rearranged the milkers, dam-feeding mamma’s with their kids and weaned kids to different stalls. 😅

Yesterday’s fermentations: since we enjoyed the Cran Apple so much, I made another. The Raspberry Green Tea fermented fast and is delicious!
Can’t wait to pick up berries to make a Blackberry Sage. Also on the hunt for Grapefruit so I can attempt a Fresca Soda.

I will be trying to get photos of the new kids posted in the next few weeks. All are available as wethers (currently).
As they unfold, there might be a keeper in the bunch.
Pictures 1 & 2 are Mystique’s blue-eyed Chamoise son at one day old …3 & 4 are Gingersnap’s smallest son who is a Chocolate Red Buckskin with random white (one day old).

Finally went to bed about 1:30am after Gingersnap’s late night delivery of FOUR buck kids. That was a surprise as her ultrasound showed twins, maybe triplets.
We had several one legged presentations, one head only, and the final kid presented with one hind-leg and tail. Not terribly difficult deliveries but definitely needed assistance.

Round two: Gingersnap is back in the birthing pen.

So that pretty udder this morning was definitely a sign. Checked on the Prego’s just before 2pm and found Mystique with a wide string of mucus.
At 2:20 she delivered a big beautiful blue eyed Chamoise buckling, weight 6.2 #!
Compliments of Spider Stone SV Yoshiyuki.
