We grew up in a time when “stay out of trouble” usually meant getting home before the streetlights came on.
We climbed where we weren’t supposed to climb.
Explored places marked “keep out.”
Turned empty barns, back roads, and old fields into lifelong adventures.
No phones.
No trackers.
Just bikes, dirty shoes, and friends who felt like family.
Some of the best memories were made far away from adults, schedules, and screens.
That generation learned independence the old-fashioned way…
by living life outside, one unforgettable adventure at a time.
