Our handsome house panther Damon has officially found his forever kingdom! 🏡👑

This charming boy is going to be the king of his very own castle, where he’ll have plenty of love, water to splash and play in (one of his favorite pastimes!), and a huge porch where he can spend his days watching birds and squirrels! 🐦🐿️💦

We couldn’t imagine a more fitting happily-ever-after for our playful, curious house panther!

Congratulations, Damon! Your kingdom awaits, and we couldn’t be happier for you! 🖤🐾

The first full week of November is a time to celebrate the incredible people who dedicate their lives to helping animals in need! 🐶🐱🐾

Behind every wagging tail, happy purr, and successful adoption is a team of compassionate people working tirelessly to give animals the love, care, and second chances they deserve. From our animal care staff and volunteers to our rescue partners, donors, and adopters, every single person makes a difference. ❤️

Shelter and rescue work isn’t always easy. It takes patience, dedication, long hours, and a whole lot of heart. But every life saved, every animal comforted, and every forever home found reminds us why this work matters so much. 🏡🐾

This week, we want to say THANK YOU! To everyone who supports animal shelters and rescues, whether by volunteering, donating, fostering, adopting, or simply spreading the word, you are part of something truly special. 💕

🐾💕 ADOPTION ALERT – SWEET SYLVIE! 💕🐾

Some love stories begin long before adoption day! ❤️

Sylvie’s new family fell in love with her while she was still too young to go home. They placed a hold on this precious girl and patiently waited until she was old enough to be spayed and receive her rabies vaccination.

But they didn’t just wait! They came to visit her two or three times a week, spending time getting to know their little girl. 🥰

By the time Sylvie was ready to go home, there were no strangers involved. She already knew exactly who her people were! ❤️

Congratulations, sweet Sylvie! Your forever family loved you long before they could take you home! 🏡🐾💕

🐱❤️ October 29 is National Cat Day! ❤️🐱

Today belongs to the head-butters, biscuit-makers, window-watchers, midnight zoomers, professional nappers, cardboard-box inspectors, and tiny furry supervisors who somehow manage to run our households while convincing us that we’re in charge. 😹

It’s National Cat Day!

Cats have an incredible way of finding their place in our lives. Some greet you at the door. Some curl up in your lap. Some prefer to sit three feet away and quietly keep you company. And some express their undying devotion by knocking something off the counter while maintaining direct eye contact. 😂

Every one of them is an individual—and that’s exactly what makes cats so wonderful.

Here at the shelter, we have cats of every personality imaginable. ❤️

🐾 Playful youngsters looking for adventure
🐾 Sweet lap cats searching for someone to cuddle
🐾 Independent souls who appreciate a little personal space
🐾 Shy cats waiting for that patient person who will earn their trust
🐾 Seniors hoping for a comfortable place to spend their golden years
🐾 And plenty of house panthers, tabbies, torties, gingers, tuxedos and everything in between!

Some will choose you immediately.

Others will make you work for it.

But when a shelter cat decides you’re their person, there’s nothing quite like it. ❤️

So today, celebrate the cats already sharing your home with an extra cuddle, play session, brushing, treat, or perhaps the ultimate feline gift…
