Woltare (aka Whoopi) is a truly exceptional young horse with limitless potential. Classic build and classic bloodlines meet in this mare; you'll find an incredibly lovable personality, great bone and structure, and true athleticism. Her work ethic is unparalleled and her ability is quickly beginning to show as she learns to balance all of her innate power! Woltare is beautifully sensitive and incredibly sensible, making her a true prospect for a professional or quiet-riding amateur or even teenager! Absolutely cannot get enough of this update from Tae Erickson and Fynch (Fabregas x Wroyal Wisdom/Widmark)!

"Fynch was Champion 4yo Sport Horse Prospect and Reserve Champion 4yo and Older Breeding Stock (by .2%!) at Lamplight this past weekend. The judges really praised her movement and presence, both wanted to take her home. Thank you for breeding my lil nugget, I cannot wait to show her under saddle next year!!!"

We are casually offering imported mare Baroness (Baron x Rosalie/Royal Blend) to a new home through no fault of her own - we are just thinking of diversifying the mare band a bit and we have a half sister! Baroness produced a fabulous and incredibly personable Sambuca filly for us this year whom we just adore! She is confirmed in foal to Fabregas for 2026 and is an excellent mother.

Baroness is sound and was started in Germany, although we have not ridden her here. She is a showstopping mover! This is one incredible two-for-one deal, and this mare has a really bright future regardless of what you ask her to do!

Breeding, Raising, Training, and Competing Outstanding Hanoverians

Located on two hundred rolling acres in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, the farm is dedicated to breeding and training Hanoverian sport horses for the dressage arena.

Special attention is given to selecting horses for movement and conformation with particular emphasis on rideability and temperament. Matching the best European bloodlines to select American bloodstock, the farms’ breeding program seeks to produce the next generation of sport horses to appeal to the amateur and professional competitor alike.

The training philosophy of the farm is simple: provide a solid foundation for the young horse in order to prepare them for dressage competition into the upper levels. Every care is taken to correctly start the young horse under saddle in order to provide the best experience for them as well as for their riders. They enjoy varied training including extensive hacking on the farm’s beautiful hills and free jumping, all of which imparts in them willingness and confidence. Though we specialize in youngsters, horses and riders of all levels benefit from the classical dressage and cross-training opportunities available here. Meg’s teaching gets nothing but rave reviews, and she has developed several horses from first rides to Grand Prix.

Owner/Trainer Meg Williams has decades of experience starting young horses, and training them along. She is also a USDF Gold Medalist. Oakwood Farms is a leading American Hanoverian breeding farm, standing the imported Elite Hanoverian stallion Widmark. Imported stallion Fabregas arrives at the farm this spring as well and will stand stud here, in addition to bringing Meg back to the show ring. The new year holds many opportunities and exciting possibilities for all of our horses and riders!
