This girl has her first massage.
We got some good stuff

I'm hoping the biggest change will be learning to relax while in the barn alone

She processed a lot during the massage and gave us some good releases even though they were small ones

Well we had our first spook today.

I think she actually handled it quite well for only our 3rd ride!

Her owner was here to watch. We're going to incorporate driving into her training now as well.

So, Rain's owner came down last night to do a session. We didn't get much video of that though...
Then, she came on her own today to mess with her
She reviewed everything we worked on Tues night with success

Fyi
We are currently building stalls for training horses.
This means training horse board will be increasing by $50/month later this summer.

I have openings from August through November. Anyone who pays their $50 deposit to hold the spot, plus half board up front before June 1st, will keep the current training horse board rate through the end of this year. 2026 will start the new rates regardless. Most likely, my training rate will increase next year too...😔

So please consider scheduling your spot for this fall soon to guarantee your spot and keep the current rate.

Once again, I will not be training over the winter Dec Jan Feb.

She's still not necessarily happy about it LOL

I call her Henny Penney cuz she acts like the sky is falling and likes to be worried about every sound, movement and sight 🤦

Today, I worked on fitting that saddle and adjusting the Y rigging girth and straps that were fastened improperly.
Should be all good to go now

First day of ground driving
She took to it really well
Wasn't scared and figured out the idea pretty quickly
She wasn't really a fan of the bit pressure at times and had to remind us she's half Andalusian with some Spanish walk attempts 🤣
