Maggie, a 7 yr old spayed female Chi-Pin (Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher), was surrendered to us today. We are just getting to know her. She is starving for affection, needs training in all things and was at risk of being left on the roadside. Her closest companion had been a seven year old child. She was also in a home with a cat.

Announcement:
Thanks to the outpouring support of the public, our followers, adopters, boarding & daycare family $1,923 was raised to care for the Zulu Crew Puppies. All 5 pups have their initial vaccinations, microchips, 3 months of heartworm preventative medications and spay/neuter surgeries paid for! We could not have done this without your help!
In addition, we have some exciting news about the zulu crew! All five pups have been adopted!! We will reunite with them again on November 2nd , for their spay/neuter surgeries. At that time , we will sign the formal adoption papers! All 5 have scored a big win with their chosen family. And we couldn't be happier for them and their future.
We cannot thank you all enough for making this possible! Thank you for your continued support of what we do here at Shepard's Doghouse!
How can you continue to help?

Reach out for help! Your veterinarian, local rescues and even animal services have strategies to help you help them! Diamonds don't get shiny overnight! But I promise you they can shine, with your help!

The Shelter has resources, your Vet has resources heck even your friend has resources - BUT YOU HAVE TO CALL!!! YOU have to ask for help. Diamonds don't get shiny overnight
