💔We are just devasted to have to let you know that one of our beloved pups has just passed away😞
Ziggy was 9 years old. He came to us after being found abandoned and in terrible condition. We treated him for heartworms and was nursed back to health in a loving foster home, where he was thriving.
Recently, he had been to the vet for the treatment of bronchitis. Just yesterday, he took a turn for the worse and passed away last night.
Our thoughts are with his foster who took such great care and gave unconditional love to Ziggy to the end and to Lynette, our founder of the rescue. As you can imagine they are both inconsolable.

We would like to get Ziggy cremated.

We have no funds but we are asking if you can please help us.

All we desire for Christmas is a home of our own. 🙏💔 Even a foster home would be suitable for now, as our current boarding facility is closing, and we will soon be without a safe place to stay. 😞

🎄 A Holiday Plea for Our Rescue Dogs 🎄

This is a hard post to write. We truly hate to keep asking, but right now we are barely getting by — and our dogs are depending on us to keep going.

We have not received any food donations, and food alone is a daily necessity. On top of that, monthly preventatives are an ongoing expense that never stops. Every single month, those costs add up quickly.

🏥Right now, we are also paying $140/per dog a week to board 4 dogs, while covering heartworm treatment for 3 dogs. We are still trying to raise the funds needed for Brownie’s tumor removal surgery and Lola’s much-needed leg surgery.

💲If anyone would like to sponsor a dog in boarding, even short-term sponsorship would make an enormous difference and immediately relieve some pressure. Food donations, preventive donations, or any financial help at all would be deeply appreciated.

🌟We believe in these dogs. We fight for them every day. But right now, we are praying for a Christmas miracle to help us keep the doors open and continue saving lives.

🚨 SOS — URGENT FOSTERS NEEDED 🚨

We are in crisis mode and need IMMEDIATE foster homes for four dogs who are currently in boarding but must be out by the end of the first week of January. If we don’t find fosters, we are at risk of having nowhere safe for them to go.

Please help us help them. Even a temporary foster can save a life.

These dogs deserve to be in homes. Boarding is not only incredibly expensive for our rescue, but it’s also stressful for them. A foster home gives them stability, love, and a real chance while we work on finding their forever homes.
