We're so excited to see 2 completed lines on our Clear the Shelters Month bingo board. PCAS wrapped up our final weekend with 67 cats & dogs finding homes!

There's still time to help us clear this Bingo Board! THIS WEEK ONLY - through Saturday 9/6 - any of our 7 remaining Bingo Board dogs are available for adoption with WAIVED ADOPTION FEES!

🥁 Drumroll, please!!

When our final guests walked out the building at Pasco County Animal Services, we celebrated…

🎉 67 successful adoptions this weekend!!

❤️ SIXTY-SEVEN lives were saved.
🏡 67 dogs & cats who were previously lost, left behind, and without a family found homes.
🐾 Sixty-Seven brand new journeys began here.

An event of this magnitude would be impossible without the tireless work of our shelter’s Animal Care Techs, Medical Team, Customer Service staff, Animal Control officers, rescue coordinators… and our selfless Volunteers.

Even more importantly? We cannot save lives without YOU, our amazing community.

Thank you 🙏🏼

We have so many beautiful moments, pics & videos to share with you in the coming days. But for now, it’s time for our team to get a little well earned (albeit brief) rest.

There are many more deserving pets waiting and hoping for their chance to be saved, too. And we will get up tomorrow morning and take care of them until they do.

🎉CLEAR THE SHELTERS WEEKEND!!
LET’S GOOOO!! DAY 2!! 🐶🐱

🐾 Our adoption center opens at noon today for more WAIVED-FEE adoptions!
🥑 Solid Rock Eats food truck from 7:30am-6p!

❤️ Day 1 brought some big wins. It was a beautiful way to set the tone for our adoption event:

✨Sally Ride, our longest resident was adopted ✨6 puppies found Foster to Adopt homes ✨Star, our very special plea pup found her persons ✨Daisy, our 17yo kitty got a soft place to land ✨Wonderful families & folks came to visit and meet our dogs/cats ✨Generous donations of food, treats & toys

We’re doing it again today! Come see us! We are OVER capacity. Help us help Pasco pets find great homes.

Star (A026104) was featured as a special plea with her sister Blaze a month ago. Blaze has since been adopted. Star sits & waits each day for her hero. 💫 Star was surrendered to Animal Control bc she kept escaping her home where her owner didn’t properly care for her. 💔 TBH Star’s light keeps dimming & she needs an understanding home to show her a life where she is loved. 🐾 Will you be Star’s person? ✨
