✈️🐾 From the clinic to the savannahs of Kenya…
This summer, AAHA’s interim CEO, Guylaine Charette, DVM, joined the Alliance for Human Animal Coexistence on a life-changing volunteer trip.
🌍 Under the shade of an acacia tree, she and a small team of volunteers vaccinated dogs, cats, and even donkeys against rabies—often without leashes, exam tables, or the comforts of a clinic.
💉 In just two weeks, the team helped deliver 3,000 rabies vaccines to protect animals and the people who love them.
Her takeaway? Volunteering reminds us that our skills can ripple out far beyond our own communities—and change lives across the world. 💙
