We’re excited to welcome Dr. Thomas Hyatt to our veterinary team! He will begin seeing patients on Mondays and Tuesday starting June 2nd.

Originally from Manhattan, New York, Dr. Hyatt earned both his BS and DVM degrees from Tuskegee University. He began his career in Atlanta, where he became certified in both animal chiropractic and veterinary acupuncture, allowing him to provide a well-rounded, holistic approach to care.Since relocating to Central Florida in 2014, Dr. Hyatt has continued to offer a wide range of services including surgery, acupuncture, and nutrition-focused treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique needs. He takes pride in spending quality time with pet owners and creating personalized paths to healing.

Dr. Hyatt is dedicated to inspiring the next generation of veterinary professionals. He created a volunteer program that provides middle and high school students with real-world exposure and mentorship in veterinary medicine.When he’s not caring for patients, Dr. Hyatt enjoys deep sea fishing, scuba diving, traveling, and spending time with his wife, Cassandra, and their dog, Seymour.

Indications: Credelio Quattro is indicated for the prevention of heartworm disease and the treatment and control of roundworm, hookworm* and tapeworm infections. Credelio Quattro kills adult fleas and is indicated for the treatment and prevention of flea infestations and the treatment and control of tick infestations for 1 month in dogs and puppies 8 weeks of age and older and weighing 3.3 pounds or greater.

Important Safety Information: Lotilaner, an ingredient in Credelio Quattro, belongs to the isoxazoline class and has been associated with neurologic adverse reactions like tremors, ataxia, and seizures even in dogs without a history of seizures. Use with caution in dogs with a history of seizures or neurologic disorders. Dogs should be tested for existing heartworm infections before Credelio Quattro administration as it is not effective against adult D. immitis. The safe use in breeding, pregnant, or lactating dogs has not been evaluated. The most frequently reported adverse reactions in clinical trials were vomiting and diarrhea.
