✅ Classes meet on the same day and time each week. Classes take place at our training center located at 131 James Comeaux Rd, Lafayette, LA 70508.
✅ Proof of current vaccinations given by a veterinarian, a negative f***l, and flea prevention are needed to attend class. Puppies need 2 rounds of vaccines given by a veterinarian.
✅ All classes are taught with positive reinforcement based methods, we do not use any choke, prong, or shock collars.

🐶Theo and Eleanor have been enrolled in our behavior modification program for the past 3 months for serious aggression towards each other. Prior to training, they were engaging in daily fights that required medical attention and would try to fight each other through the door or gate. They could not see each other without showing aggression.

🐾We implemented heavy management and behavioral medication from their vet. We also discussed their weight and both have lost weight and are getting closer to a healthy weight range. Theo is also being treated by his veterinarian for spinal and pain related issues.

❤️Progress has been very slow and steady. They are not fully integrated in the household together and it may never be an option for them to safely be together again. They can now tolerate seeing each other on walks and through a baby gate in the household. The goal of training is to safely coexist together, sometimes dogs may need management for life. They are both much happier, less stressed, and safely existing in the household.

‼️Our next AKC Canine Good Citizen class starts on Tuesday, September 15th @ 6:30 pm!

🐶This 6 week class covers all 10 steps of the AKC Canine Good Citizen Test. Class meets the same day and time each week for 6 weeks. We will work on exercises such as accepting a friendly stranger, supervised separation, walking through a crowd, and MUCH more! AKC Canine Good Citizen testing will take place during the final class. The cost is $200/dog.

🤩 Check out our adorable Tuesday night Puppy Class! Levi, Maggie Mae, Stetson, Knox, and Samantha are having so much fun learning each week. They're currently working on socialization, stay, and loose leash walking. They're a great group of puppies and we love their improvement with focus. Great job!

Knox and Levi recently attended our Puppy Play Time. They had a blast working on their social skills and engaging in confidence building activities. It was a great time and they were worn out by the end! Be on the look out for our puppy play time next month!

Poppy, Patches, and Lisette recently attended our Jumpers Anonymous Workshop. They were super enthusiastic to practice their obedience skills. We discussed why dogs jump, behavior management, and how to reinforce desirable behaviors that are incompatible with jumping. Great Job, pups!

📅Class starts on Thursday, September 10th @ 6:30 pm.
🐶This is a 4 week course for puppies ages 10 weeks to 5 months of age. Class meets the same day and time each week for 4 weeks. Your puppy will learn eye contact, sit, down, come, stay, leave it, loose leash walking, go to bed. We will also discuss how to address jumping, chewing, barking, digging, and potty training.
💲The cost is $175/puppy. SPACE IS LIMITED!!
