🌪 Recently, we hosted a speciality training day focused on improving tunnel skills. Tunnels are used in a variety of dog sports including Agility, Barn Hunt, OCRs, Earth Dog, Den Hunt, Updog, & more! Tunnels are made from a variety of materials which can be unsettling to some dogs.

📦 We taught exhibitors how they can construct tunnels at home with a variety of materials they already own including boxes, totes, chairs, sheets, etc! Creative ideas like these makes training more accessible. We discussed how and when to increase criteria and difficulty. We developed different reinforcement strategies for each individual dog. Most importantly, we had fun!

🎊 All pups were successfully going through the agility tunnel at different angles by the end of their slots. We're so proud of everyone's progress!

🎉 Bayou Dog Sports Training Club had a busy weekend! Members attended the NOLA Barn Hunt Friends August Trial in Kenner & 2025 NADD South Central Regionals in Longview!

🎊 Several BDS club members & workshop students also attended. We want to celebrate YOUR wins, too! Comment below & tell us how you did!

💜 Ronny & Kessel competed in HydroDash with a best of 15.6 seconds.

🖤 Kirby & Addie earned 2 Master Qs & 140 points towards their CZ8 title.

💙 Kirby & Hugo earned 30 points towards their CZ8 title.

🧡 Hannah & Izzy earned their RATM & CZ8B titles.

💛 Hannah & Bluff earned 40 points towards their CZ8 title.

🤎 Hannah & Charlie earned their RATO title & 50 points towards their CZ8 title.

🩵 Krystal & Zodiak earned 2 Master Qs & 70 points towards their CZ8 title. They also competed in Distance Jump with a best of 13.9 feet.

🩷 Krystal & Phoenix earned 1 Open Q. They also competed in Distance Jump with a best of 19.8 feet earning them an invite to NADD Nationals.

🏆 All teams received various ribbon placements as well!

Small group, big results! Mickey & Albert were the dynamic duo at our Rally Workshop, hosted at ZenDog! Even with a few pups unable to attend, these two made the most of it and crushed their Rally Obedience goals! :D
