November is National Pet Diabetes Month, so here are four signs worth a closer look in dogs and cats. 🐾

1️⃣ Drinking a lot more water than usual
2️⃣ Needing to p*e more often, or having accidents
3️⃣ Eating more but losing weight
4️⃣ Less energy than normal

Diabetes is usually lifelong, but it can be managed well, and in some cats it can even go into remission with treatment. Spotting it early makes a real difference.

Why doesn't PetWellClinic® take appointments? It started with a simple idea.

A "minute clinic" for pets: a place where dog and cat owners could get high-quality preventive care without waiting weeks for an appointment. The first PetWellClinic® opened in Knoxville, Tennessee, in 2010.

Before your pet joins the fun, run through four quick questions:

Can they move, see, breathe, and bark or meow freely?

Are there any small or dangling pieces they could chew off and swallow?

Have they tried it on at home before the big night?

Do they actually seem happy in it?

If the answer to that last one is no, a festive bandana counts too.
Not every pet loves dressing up, and that's completely OK.
