VOLUNTEERS NEEDED – HELP US BUILD FREEDOM FENCES! 🐾

We’re teaming up with Chain Free Union County to give dogs the safe, secure spaces they deserve—and we need YOUR help!

🔨 What we’re doing:
Building outdoor enclosures using 6’ x 10’ fence panels for dogs currently living on chains. These fences give them room to move, play, and live a better life.

👷 What we need:
• Volunteers to help assemble and install fence panels
• Folks comfortable with basic tools (but no experience required!)
• Anyone willing to lend a hand and a heart ❤️

💪 This is hands-on, meaningful work that directly improves the lives of dogs in our community. Every panel we set is a step toward a chain-free life.

🐶 Why it matters:
A fenced yard means freedom, safety, and a chance for these dogs to finally thrive.

Vaccine and microchip clinic on April 16 from 11 to 1. Then next clinics will be on April 30, May 7 and 14. NO clinic on April 23.

The shelter will be closed Friday & Saturday, April 3 & 4, to allow staff and volunteers to celebrate the Easter holiday.

The shelter will be closed on Saturday, March 28, for training.

No vaccine clinic this week. Next clinics will be April 2, 9, and 16 between 11am and 1pm. No appointment necessary. Vaccines are $15 each and microchips are $20.

Vaccine and microchip clinic will run from 11-1 on March 12 and March 19. Vaccines are $15 each, microchip is $20 which includes registration. No appointments necessary, just walk-in lobby from 11-1.
