The majority of our students rely on SNAP for their families as they move through our 7-month program before attaining sustainable employment. Our food partners and volunteers are more critical than ever to meet these needs.

Thank you to our dedicated volunteers who give countless hours to pick up, deliver, drop off, organize, and prepare food.

THANK YOU Hill’s Pet Nutrition for spending your Make a Difference Week with us!

Over the course of 3 days, 50 Hill’s employees gave over 100 hours of their time! Volunteers made enchiladas and chicken noodle soup for our students in our new commercial kitchen program, crafted countless bandanas and bow ties for our pet clients, and completely transformed the garden beds at our six-unit family residence.

A special thank you to Yvonne Hsu, President of Hill’s Pet Nutrition, for joining us, too! We appreciate our growing partnership and look forward to hosting you again in the future!

Volunteers like Marilyn help make our mission possible. A few months ago, after our dryer broke, Marilyn stepped in to take a carload of towels to the laundromat. She arrived back at Pawsperity just as students were running low on the towels they needed to dry dogs.

Did you know that many of our instructors are alumni of the program? Here's what level 106 instructor, Tanisha, thinks is special about that relationship:

"I was in their shoes once," Tanisha shares. "They can see that I did it, so they can too. They’re like a bird in the nest—we have to push them out and see them fly...I want to see them do well. I want to see them win."
