Pampered Paws Grooming Full service professional grooming salon. We specialize in small dogs & cats. We are a full service grooming salon. We also have a non profit rescue on site.

We do all breeds of dogs and cats too.We work with rescues and can handle the elderly or the abused. We usually have pomeranians, sometimes mixed breeds. Occasionally cats for adoption too.

We have been getting new clients now that the road is finished. Most get groomed on a regular basis, and some haven't been groomed in a long time. Education is key. Our goal is to keep the pet healthy and happy!

The severity of mats. Mats are more than just a tangle in your dogs coat. A lot of people are unaware just how detrimental a mat is. Here is some knowledge on mats that will be quite the eye opener.
1. Mats pull on the skin.
2. They harbor bacteria, dead skin, debri, and can smell.
3. They can create sores and wounds underneath.
4. Mats in the paw pads or armpits can change your dogs gait.
5. They are painful just existing.
6. Creates bad blood circulation and can cause the blood to rush back to that area when removed. Hematomas. Bruising. Swelling.

Removing mats:
1. Removing mats by brushing them out takes ALOT of time. And therefore costs more money. It HURTS!
2. Brushing them out still damages that hair and damaged hair mats more easily.
3. Cutting them out can be dangerous, especially if done by a non-professional and will leave holes in the coat.
4. Clipping them out is still a lot of time, stressful, and painful as the mats are pulled and tugged. It takes a very close (short) cut to get underneath mats to get them out. About 1/4 inch of coat will be left or no hair at all.
5. When your dog needs the groomer to remove mats, they are not set up for success. It is far more difficult to remain calm, comfortable, and cooperative.
Our job is to groom with love, not create stress or pain.

Hello friends!
It's been a long time coming, but we see major progress on Wornall Road. Our front driveway is done, and they are working on the sidewalks now. They have upgraded the electric poles and sewers, too. We are taking new clients, so spread the word. We prefer small dogs. We have openings next week. Go to our website to fill out the form first.

Well...
Wornall is finally being rebuilt, with concrete from the bottom up. We will have new sidewalks, too. It's a challenge right now with our front parking lot closed and 77th terr closed, but luckily, you can go the back way and park in the side lot. Don't worry, the gravel pile leaves us room to drive around. The workers have been very respectful of the businesses along wornall. By the end of this year, it will be done and all brand new.

Our Story

We are a full service grooming salon. We do all breeds of dogs and cats too.We work with rescues and can handle the elderly or the abused.

We also have small dog daycare and boarding for the little ones. We are fortunate to have a deck and fenced-in yard just like home. They play all day and sleep well at night. Drop by anytime to meet us. We also have a non profit rescue on site. We usually have pomeranians, sometimes other small breeds. Occasionally we foster cats for adoption too.
