Happy National Hug Your Cat Day! 🐈❤️

There’s just something special about loving a cat… even when they act mildly inconvenienced by your existence most of the time. 😂

And somehow, no matter how many times they walk across the keyboard, knock things off the table, or stare at us like tiny furry landlords… we still scoop them up for hugs they clearly did not ask for.

Because deep down, every cat owner knows the truth:
the quickest way to show love is to annoy your cat with affection for approximately 7 seconds before they wiggle away. 😆

On Saturday, sweet Ebony went home with the family she picked for herself. She met them the weekend before and waited as they went through the application process. It was well worth the wait! Happy Tails sweet girl!

Hello Diva Friends! We've had a change in our partnership with the PetSmart in Shawnee. We WILL still be there every Saturday from 11-3 for our adoption events. Our adoption process still remains the same and we are still here for our adopters. Our relationship with the Management Team and staff of the store remains positive.

We will NOT have cats staying at the adoption center at the store during the week. PS Corporate has come to an agreement with a larger shelter in the area. Their policies, pricing, and practices are very different than ours. This could cause some questions and confusion. If you have questions, please reach out.

We are sad to see this change, but we will carry on providing the best care to our fosters and providing the best customer service we can.

Jimi Hendrix was the hottest ticket - er, kitten! - in town, with a half dozen applicants vying to be his family. He picked this sweet family with two little boys to grow up with. Rock on, guys!

Razzie stole the hearts of this couple and now she gets to go to her new home to meet her feline siblings - one of whom will want to play with her and the other who is a bit grumpy. A perfect family for this social little girl!
