Heavenly Havanese Puppies Pro-Hobby-ShowBreeders.We show to insure we breed only the best. We health test our parent dogs OFA. We are Proud Breeder Of Merit Hobby Show Breeders.

We show for conformation, and health test through the OFA, Orthopedic Foundation For Animals. We breed for health, show conformation and temperament. While not showing all our dogs live in our home as our pets. Puppies are placed with professional handlers at the age of 5 to 6 months to ready them for show training. Each puppy is shown for conformation and health tested within the first two years

. If the adult dogs complete their showing and health testing to our high expectations they are placed in our breeding program. Breeding for the genetic betterment and longevity of the breed is our primary focus. Heavenly Havanese Puppies is the home of Americas #1 Grand Champion Havanese. We are proud to have received an invitation to Westminster February 2017! We set high goals for ourselves and will continue to have a positive impact on the Havanese for generations.

We are proud to be AKC Breeder Of Merit!!!

All of our dogs are fully health tested per-breed recommendations before we put them in a breeding program.

Parents are also shown at AKC dog shows for conformation to Championship level.

Per/breed recommendations we health test the parent dogs, heart, patellas ,ears, hips and, eyes. Eyes are re-screened
yearly for cataracts, to ensure the dogs do not develop juvenile cataracts. This is very important !!!

All parent dogs are given what is called a CHIC number by the orthopedic foundation for animals, OFA.org.  Dogs are shown at AKC dog shows , American kennel club, not UKC dog show, BIG Difference ! Professional judges go over each dog to confirm their structure, temperament and general health.

It take years to build a strong foundation of quality puppies/show parents. If you’re looking for a quality Hobby Show Breeder to work with for your next Puppy please don’t hesitate to reach out.

I’m here for the purpose of educating you and helping you find your newest family member. Regardless of whether you take one of my puppies. I believe it’s more important to educate the public.

Your breeder should be investing in her dogs and breeding for the betterment of the breed, and not the betterment of their pocket-book. Breeding for the betterment and longevity of the breed should be a primary focus of every breeder.

There are several different types of breeders.

Backyard breeder, they dont health test or show their dog. In addition, they don’t understand genetics and quality lines. 

It takes years to develop quality, parent, dogs, through health, testing, and showing.

USDA breeders; most don’t health test or show. They are monitored by the department of agriculture and are usually allowed to keep more dogs. 

Puppy mills; we all understand this.

Professional Hobby Show breeders like myself, we health test and show our beautiful dogs. We work with the AKC American Kennel Club, a professional organization. We are Breeder of Merit ,and take our job serious as professionals.  We are blessed to work with a network of other professionals that have dedicated their life to breeding and showing quality dogs.

You’ll pay just as much for a puppy from a backyard breeder a puppy mill or USDA Breeder as you will from a professional like myself .

Congratulations to Tracy McNair and welcome to the Heavenly family, Tracy pick up her beautiful new Show puppy in Kansas City, Missouri, and took him all the way back to Knoxville, Tennessee. 

We are proud to be working with quality show professionas to help them achieve and maintain quality showing and breeding standards in their breeding program.

Our Story

Havanese is our breed and our lives. We are Hobby Show Breeders. All of our dogs are AKC registered and screened for all recommended tests by OFA which in clues eyes certification, patella, hips, BAER and cardiac. We show our dogs for conformation and breed for health, show conformation and temperament. While not showing all our dogs live in our home as our family pets.

Puppies are placed with professional handlers at the age of 5 to 6 months to ready them for show training. Each puppy is hand picked by me and shown for conformation. Health tested within the first two years, If the adult dogs complete their showing and health testing to our high expectations they are placed in our breeding program. Breeding for the genetic betterment and longevity of the breed is our primary focus.

2016-Walker. Walker showed as America’s #1 Havanese 2016, what a thrill! Walker received an invitation to Westminster, February 2017! Walker did well at Westminster and brought home a Select Ribbon fromr the Havanese breed.

2018, Our boy Rocky finished as number 4 Silver Grand Champion and received an award on excellence at the National dog show 2018. Rocky is an amazing boy, look for future litters from this beautiful boy.
