Meet Mica Our Featured Pet Of The Day!! Mica is a 4 month old neutered Domestic Medium hair kitty. Mica has integrated well with two dogs at home. It is recommended when introducing new pets to do it very slowly over weeks and in some cases months. Most pets will be settled into their environment by 3 months. If you are concerned your pets are not getting along please recheck out and we would love to discuss your concerns.

Meet Banner Our Featured Pet Of The Day!! Banner is an 8-year-old neutered Shi Tzu. Banner was in to have his ear infection rechecked last week and would like to remind everyone that it is important that we do not apply antibiotic or antifungal ear medication without having us see your pet and determine if infection is present or not healing. It is possible that you can do harm to your pet by continuing medication that is not effective for the current infection. Please let us know if you are struggling with your pets ears or other skin so that we can help.

The designation of small mammals includes rabbits, Ferrets, rodents like rats, hamsters, gerbils, and guinea pigs. Jinx wanted owners to know that heartworm prevention is typically sold as prescription only and not over-the-counter, whereas flea and tick preventatives tend to be both depending on the type of product. We wanted to let all of her puppy and kitten owners know that then the vast majority of dogs and cats are infected with worms most commonly as early as at the time of birth. We highly recommend having stools checked during puppy and kitten visits at least once.

Meet Rufus Our Featured Pet Of The Day!! Rufus is a 10 month old neutered mini Dachshund. We wanted to encourage our pet parents to try multiple diet variations with young pets. This can help with food intolerances and also allow you to pick the best fit for your pet long term once they reach adulthood. Keep in mind until they are at least 10 months old we recommended any diet to be for all life stages or at least for puppies.

Did you know that smaller dogs have the same number of teeth in their mouth no matter what size they are or length of their snout. It is important to have your dogs teeth checked annually.
