A big THANK YOU to our community partners, The Filling Station Coffee Haus and Cliff's Taphouse , for supporting the Build Trybe mission!

Through their generous donations and willingness to help spread the word about what we do, these local businesses are helping us create more opportunities and build brighter futures for the young people we serve.

We’re grateful for community partners who believe in our mission and show up for the next generation. Thank you for being part of the trybe!

At Build Trybe, learning happens by doing. Our young adults gain hands-on skills that prepare them for the workplace.

For one of our graduates, Jazzy, that experience led directly to a new opportunity as a prep cook with Reconciliation Services

“They prepared me for a real kitchen job, and all the knowledge they taught me I can bring with me to work.”

That’s what Build Trybe is all about , building skills, confidence, and pathways to employment.

🚛 Exploring Career Pathways!

Flourish took Build Trybe pre-apprentices from our Conservation Landscape program on a field trip to Zeta a local CDL training school!

The group got a firsthand look at CDL training, explored career opportunities, and learned more about how these skills can open doors to future employment.

Today, our partners, collaborators, and volunteers came together at Splitlog Farm for a volunteer cleanup day to prepare the space for what’s ahead. Our Build Trybe Conservation Landscape team helped lead volunteers as we worked side by side to bring new life to the farm.

Thank you to Blue KC , Build WyCo , kckpublicschools M.E. Pearson Elementary School, AIA Kansas City , KC Farm School at Gibbs Road for being part of this collaboration!

We had such a good time at our Boards&Bonfires date night in the shop! Participants were able to come in and custom brand their own charcuterie boards prepped by our Building Trades Ambassadors. Load up their boards with charcuterie curated by our Seed to Plate Ambassadors and then enjoy them in front of the big screen in our shop backyard with a backdrop of a beautiful rain garden planted by our Conservation Landscaping Apprentices.
