UPDATE ON MACK:
Mack, our sweet boy we posted last night, made it through surgery and is doing well! He is expected to be released later today.
We are so thankful he is doing well and for all donations, but please continue to donate and share - we have not yet covered the cost of his surgery, and our funds were already low, so we still need help.

Meet Mack, a sweet 3-year-old Bernese Mountain Dog whose life has already taken more turns than any dog should have to face.
Back in May, Mack arrived at our rescue after his family made the heartbreaking decision that they could no longer care for him. Through it all, Mack has remained a happy guy. Since coming into our care, Mack has faced several unexpected medical challenges. Now, he is fighting his biggest battle yet.
Mack has developed an intestinal obstruction and needs emergency, life-saving surgery. The procedure is complicated, carries significant risks, and comes with a price tag our rescue could use help in funding.
We believe Mack deserves the opportunity to heal, to find the loving home he deserves, and to enjoy the long, happy life every 3-year-old dog should have ahead of him.
