Long Valley Farm is a small, mixed vegetable farm located just seven miles east of Kalamazoo. We are now offering our eighteen week CSA for 2022 which runs from June until October. Starting in 2022 the cost for a full share will be $600.00, enough for a family of four of average consumption. We will also be offering a single share for individuals or couples for $325.00. You will also get special deals on bulk items and over stock, recipes and instructions on using your bounty. Our philosophy is simple: Take care of the land, live sustainably, and eat great food! It is very important to us at Long Valley Farm to provide healthy food to all areas of the community, regardless of income. Ok Kalamazoo Farmers Market folks! We had great success last week with our snap distribution and with the help of Bankston Lake farm, we plan to do it again this week. Kalamazoo Farmers Market folks!
If you have snap benefits, Long Valley farm will have veggies for you the month of November free of charge.
Even though our margins are very thin we take care of our own here in kalamazoo! I urge other growers to consider doing the same as we lose vital safety nets for those folks who have chosen to spend their snap dollars with us regularly. They have not only chosen good food, but have supported us and our community all season in the process. We thank you and will do what we can to ensure our neighbors stay fed.
