Meet Sunny! ☀️

Sunny is a 6 year old male Yellow Lab mix weighing around 50 pounds, with a shorter stature. He is your classic good boy who wants nothing more than to be your buddy and stay right by your side. Want to head out for an adventure or just relax at home? Sunny would love to be included in whatever you're doing!

Sunny is a smart guy who already has some great manners! He is potty trained, knows basic commands, and walks nicely on a leash, with some pulling when he gets excited. He also rides wonderfully in the car and does great out in public, making him a great pup to take along on your outings. Sunny prefers being around his people and would be happiest with a family who wants a loyal dog following them through life.

Sunny has made some dog friends here at ARP, although he can be a little selective about who he likes. He would do best with a canine companion who matches his calmer demeanor, with proper introductions to make sure everyone gets along. He also does well with respectful children! He hasn't been cat tested yet, but we can arrange that for approved apps with cats.

Sunny has so many wonderful qualities that make him an amazing dog and we would love to see him find a family who appreciates a loyal, loving boy who just wants to be part of their everyday life. If Sunny sounds like the buddy you've been looking for, please visit animalrescueproject.org to fill out an application. You can also find Sunny on Petfinder and see all of our other available animals!
