🎨🐾 Kids Paint & Purr at Kona Kat Cafe! 🐾🎨

Looking for a fun family activity? Bring your young artist to Kids Paint & Purr for an evening of creativity surrounded by our adorable rescue cats and playful kittens!

Children will create their own masterpiece with step-by-step guidance from our talented art instructor, then enjoy extra time meeting and playing with the kittens. Parents are welcome to paint alongside their child or simply drop them off for a fun evening of art and cats.

🎨 Adults and Children Ages: 9–14 only
💲 $38 per person

💕 Extra kitten playtime

Brandon was all about: “Let’s go. Time is wasting. I am ready for my forever home! “
He didn’t know the word California, but that is his new home. He was only with us a few days before he flew off with his new catfather and family. He was a sweet, snuggly, loving kitten. He is definitely going to enrich this man’s life.
We wish them the best life together.

Volunteer Role Clarification

8:00–10:00 AM Cat care, feeding, cleaning, and maintaining the cat areas.
12:00pm-4:00 PM: Retail and guest services while monitoring the cats' well-being.

Volunteering is a working role, not a cat socialization position.

Volunteers do enjoy time with the cats during their shifts, but the primary focus is caring for the cats and providing a great experience for our guests.

Thursday 12:00pm-4:00pm
Friday 12:00pm-4:00pm.

Cat Yoga at Kona Kat Cafe this Sunday! And on Monday is Cat Tai Chi! Join us for a one hour yoga class or the tai chi class with our Hawaii rescue cats & kittens acting as furry yoga/chi masters to help you strike the right pose and find balance. Our talented instructors leads the session suitable for all experience levels, beginners are welcome.

We've had several new adoptable rescue kittens join us recently and they are ready to meet new friends.

This cute boy is going to be so spoilt being raised by these 4 sistas. It takes a lot of charm to win the hearts of 4 beautiful young ladies. But when you have got it, you got it! Little Juno had a blast playing with them and snuggling on their laps for a kitten nap. He flew off to California this week and we are so grateful another kitty made it to the mainland. We wish them the best life together. 🌴❤️🐈‍⬛❤️🌴

What can you say? When you are Turkish Van with a blue eye and a green eye and a sweet personality you are irresistible!   Tomas was here less than 24 hours before he was taken home with this family.  They had adopted a sweet black kitten a few years ago and Tomas is going to keep her company. We wish the family the best life together.

A huge MAHALO to Tiffany DeMasters and Big Island Now for the wonderful feature on Kona Kat Cafe that was published this week! 🐱🐾💛

Tiffany reached out to visit the cafe, spent time getting to know our rescue cats and kittens in the Catio, and captured the heart of our mission so beautifully. We truly appreciate her helping share our story and our mission of finding loving forever homes for our rescue kitties.
