Nose for Adventure

While Nose has been gone a long while, we still keep track of our pack. Sadly this pack has dwindled significantly over the years, and with each loss our hearts are sad, but we feel joy that we were able to meet such wonderful dogs and their humans.
We raise a glass to Shelby, who we loved so deeply; and her humans who became our family. Shelby was a daily pack member. She hiked every home, she spent the night often and always in our personal room and bed. She was so special, so wonderful, and we have missed her every day since we moved away.
Shelby, please play with all your former lack mates on the other side of the bridge. Bailey, Tilly, Wile E., Raptor, Huxley, Sophie, Bella, Lava, and so so many more.

Garage sale is this Saturday from 8am-2pm at Nose for Adventure! There is a LOT more stuff that's not pictured! Tons of Christmas and other holiday decorations, tons of dishes and kitchen ware, end tables, shelves, bookshelves, blankets, dog crates, x-pens and more!!
Everything must go! 😁 hope to see you all there and please spread the word.

We're having a garage sale! Saturday October 7th at Nose for adventure. We have a washer, dryer, fridge, treadmill, dishes (dog and human), shelves, dog shampoo, chairs, dog crates, kuranda dog beds (16 of them- two different sizes), fans, dog swimming pool, metal trash cans (were used to store dog food, not trash 😂), LOTS of Christmas and other holiday decorations, and more! Please spread the word- everything must go!!

Dear NFA Ohana,


It is with our deepest sorrow to share news that needs your immediate attention, and to inform you that as of SEPTEMBER 15, 2017, Nose for Adventure will be closing doors of their Kona location.


It has been an honor to care for your fur-babies, and we have appreciated you being a part of our beloved Ohana, but with the rising cost of doing business, we will no longer be able to offer our services at our current location.


For those of you on pre-paid monthly packages, we will be here to continue serving you throughout the month. For drop-in daycares, and all future boarding, we recommend that you set-up an evaluation with Paws University at 808-325-6436 http://www.pawsuniversity.com or e-mail at [email protected].

And remember... if you are taking your dog in public places, please consider Canine Good Citizen or other obedience classes teaching socialization skills.

Not everyone loves dogs like us pet parents, so please strive to be a responsible dog owner.

It's time to stop falsely claiming that your dog is a service animal and to stop bringing pets into restaurants, onto planes, and to other places where only service dogs are permitted.
