Paws Across Water Hawaii -Pawhi Ann Goody Executive Director and Founder. PAWHI partners with County of Hawaii to find local and mainland homes for shelter pets.

Through partnerships with mainland rescues and with help of volunteers (AFCs), we fly Aloha Pets to mainland forever homes.

Anyone flying to the Bay area soon? Landing at SFO or SJC? We have a pair of puppies ready to fly to the amazing rescue partner Berkeley Humane Society. These little ones need a ride off the rock. All we need is to attach them to an Alaska Air reservation. We do all the work, you just fly and the puppies fly in cargo. The rescue will meet the pups and you when you land, you hand over the paperwork and that's it.

We have wonderful dogs all line up ready to fly. Anyone going to Seattle or Bay Area? If you have a direct flight on Alaska Air and will let us attach a dog or two to your reservation you can be a lifeline to get them to forever homes. COH Animal Control is flooded with wonderful dogs needing homes and we have them waiting on the mainland. Getting the dogs there takes volunteers who already are flying. If you have friends coming to visit please tell them about the program. Take some Aloha home when they go.
