Had a wonderful time schooling XC at River Glen! Every student did amazing. Callie schooled her first training level fences, McKenzie schooled her first BN level fences, Allix schooled her horse over his first ever starter fences, and Kayla schooled over her first ever xc fences with her new mare!

So proud of all of yall!

Wonderful day at the Biltmore Jumper Show!

McKenzie and Nala are back at it and walked away with their first blue ribbon in their divison. So proud of this pair sticking it out through everything that they have been through. Y’all looked amazing and so much more to come ❤️

Sarah and Dakota walked away with a blue in their division too! Congrats Sarah for sticking with Dakota’s baby brain. She got better every time y’all walked into the arena ❤️

Jess and Dutch did amazing with this being Dutch’s first show ever. Placing in the ribbons you can’t ask for a better first show! Y’all two are a great team. It was great to meet you and hope to see ya again soon ❤️

Callie and Atlas won their 2’6” division! This show was a great time to see what they had. They rode in the 2’9” classic and 3’ classic and only knocking one rail in 3’. Keep up the great work ❤️

Great lessons last night!

Nala finally held her canter the entire lesson and jumped a 2’6” fence again! Great job McKenzie for sticking with it. With a little more strengthening Nala and McKenzie will be back at the horse trials in no time!

Talia and her pony completed her first canter fence and even tackled her first 2’ fence at the canter! Proud of your hard work with your little auction horse!

Great time with the parents on the farm. Pops got the block laid for the office and barn bathroom, then we had a nice little ride with Miller the best Clydesdale!

Nickie is by Picturesque Formal Attire and out of my TB mare.

Diva has it all. She has the sweetest personality and will stand with you to be groomed and loved on. This is paired with her beautiful walk, trot, canter and jump.

Diva really can go in any direction whether it is top level dressage or eventing.

I don’t know how it happened but these girls got me out of bed at 5am to go on a trail ride…. So glad they did. Amazing friends, wonderful ponies, and great weather!

Very proud of my new OTTB being the leader 80% of the time and finally enjoying the water! He was a perfect gentleman the entire time!

I am going to take a minute and brag on this girl for a little. She started off bringing along a OTTB that was scared of a pole through completing her starter phase with him, moving up to BN than supporting and bringing him back from a suspensory injury to bringing home a blue in BN. Her drive, and determination keeps pushing her forward! Keep kicking butt girl!

So proud of Callie’s first show back. Callie put in a solid 6 mouths of rehab for a suspensory that Atlas had and put in the work to bring him back up. Congrats girl on your 1st place you deserved it ❤️

Words can not express how much I appreciate Katherine Stancliff. She is a rep for Stubben and a WOUNDERFUL saddle fitter. If you know horses you will see the difference between these two stills that where taken, first is the lesson before saddle fitter came (Tuesday ) and seconds after Katherine re-flocked saddle to fit his back (today). Same grid, same horse, same rider.

What a fun time with great people. Rode my first trail in TN…. It’s sad to say that, I know but it won’t be our last. So nice to have really been back in the saddle. My step daughters new horse was incredible, even for 3 years old. He went down into the water and galloped through fields.

Thank you to Allix, Sarah, Callie and Isabelle and all of our incredible horses that took everything in stride.

We will be back out soon!

Callie and Gypsy! First time over some jumps. Learning how to use herself and Callie did amazing riding her through it 💕 this little mare is going to be one heck of a jumper when she figures it out

Yesterday’s lesson with Callie just filled my heart. Here is Kanati in his first lesson. Through all of his stubbornness he did amazing for his first true ring ride. From a wild untouchable Mustang to learning how to move forward on the trails to now learning his job in the ring. Oh the places you will go Kanati! Thank you so much Kent for helping me out with this little boy

From Showmanship to Horsemanship

Sarah started her passion for horses at a young age, and to this day she can not get enough. She took the traditional path most young girls follow and has spent many years competing in hunters, eventing, and in show jumping. However, she always felt that something was missing... a deeper connection between horse and rider. She has since found her real passion in natural horsemanship and spends her time trying to better her connection between her and her horse. She spends much of her free time working with troubled horses that are on their last chance. She strives to help others find a path to more trust, love, and respect.
