A simple “thank you” doesn’t seem to be as common as it once was. Life moves so fast these days that little things like gratitude, a smile, or even a friendly hello can sometimes get lost in the shuffle.

During horse camp, we ask each camper to write a thank you note to the person who made it possible for them to attend. It might be a parent, grandparent, or another special person in their life. If time allows, many choose to write additional notes to their instructor or even their favorite horse.

One of our volunteers gave me this note last week, and it truly meant so much. This young lady gets it. She understands the bigger picture and appreciates the people who invest their time, energy, and care into others. That kind of gratitude is something special.

Kids like Trinity remind us that kindness, appreciation, and thoughtfulness are still alive and well.

Thank you, Trinity. Love you, kiddo!

Trail camp learning how to load, unload, as well as trailering safety this morning. Because if you go off property, you have to be able to get your pony there.

Trail camp - Ba****ck and in the rain today after lunch.

Because if you are trail riding way up in the mountains, you loose your saddle AND it starts raining you have to be able to get home!

Baby Sweets and Mocha are getting close to being 2 months old now. And we know growing babies like their naps. But when these two nap, they nap HARD! Notice Grandma Bea watching closely in the background.

The weather isn’t looking the greatest for the week, but the Trail and Obstacle Camp took full advantage of a pretty day. We were able to do trails, obstacles, and even some ba****ck today. Nice big group of campers with 17 total. Looking forward to spending the week with this group!
