They did an exploratory foreign body surgery and honestly the price was really good had this been the first vet I went to but by the time I got here I was already in the hole I wish I would of took her here first. Save your money and time and just take your animal to this place!!!!!!!! Horn flies are one of the most significant external parasites affecting cattle, and the economic impact adds up fast. In Oklahoma, now is the time to start watching numbers and making a plan, because horn fly pressure usually builds into the summer.

Ticks matter too. Lone star ticks are common in Oklahoma and stay active for much of the year, so cattle can start picking them up well before peak summer fly season.

If your herd is already showing signs of fly or tick pressure, give us a call. The right prevention and treatment plan can make a big difference before it gets out of hand.

We get it. Between busy schedules and easy online ordering, it is tempting to grab your pet's medications or food from whatever website has the best price or fastest shipping.

Here is what we want you to know: not all online pet pharmacies are created equal, and some products sold through third-party marketplaces have been found to be counterfeit, improperly stored, expired, or simply not what the label claims. This is especially true for flea and tick preventatives, heartworm medications, and prescription diets.

When you purchase medications or prescription food through your veterinarian or a pharmacy we have authorized, you get the real product with the manufacturer guarantee, and you have us in your corner if something goes wrong.

We also want to remind you that some medications that seem harmless, including many over-the-counter products marketed for pets, can interact badly with prescription medications or be inappropriate for your specific animal's health history. Always check with us before adding anything new.

Just a heads up for our clients planning ahead: we will be closed on Monday, May 25th in observance of Memorial Day.

If you have a prescription refill, a recheck, or anything else you need to take care of before the long weekend, please give us a call this week so we have time to get you squared away.

We hope you have a safe and restful holiday weekend. And if you are heading out of town with your pets or leaving them in someone else's care, make sure whoever is watching them has your vet's contact information and knows what to watch for in an emergency.

We will be back to our regular hours on Tuesday, May 26th. 🐾
