****CLOSED******
We are CLOSED we will not be taking in any more dogs for the remainder of the year possibly longer depending on adoptions. Cats will be assessed on a case-by-case basis depending on what we already have, our adoptions, and finances. We understand that the need is great right now; however, we are beyond capacity and cannot take anymore physically, emotionally, or financially right now.
*If you find a lost dog please utilize the lost and found pages, if you can take it in there are resources out there to help you. There are pet food banks, clinics and vouchers for the clinics. In addition if you see or witness a dog being dumped gather as much information as you can and call the non-emergency number. Please try to reach out to the community for help and support friends, neighbors, coworkers. Us small rescues cannot keep up with the demand. I know the winter months are coming up also so if you have outside cats you are worried about you can build shelters with straw and a Styrofoam cooler.
