The saddest little intake trying to be so brave in this strange, new place.
She came to us suddenly tonight because after being taken in, giving birth to kittens, and all her kittens being given away or kept - she was going to be thrown outside tonight, pregnant once more.
She’s obviously trying to be brave - she licked a little bit of the churu off the plate and looked around. She loafed. But she licked her lips and swallowed all the while indicating signs of anxiety. When we reach to pet she doesn’t bow into it and if we moved the plate at all she tried to make herself small in the corner, her ears up but her eyes big.
She will be okay. She will learn this is safe again. Her kitten, who was kept, we hope is too.
Welcome, Willow. Our sweet girl. If you’d like to sponsor her spay this Friday, it is $85.
EDIT: HUGE thanks to Sandy Bischof for sponsoring her spay 🧡
