Ever wonder why your dog munches on grass like it's a salad bar? 🌱

Most dogs eat grass simply because they like the taste and texture! It's usually completely normal behavior - not because they're sick or missing nutrients like many people think.

Some dogs just enjoy the crunch, others might be bored, and a few do it to help settle their stomachs. As long as the grass isn't treated with chemicals, a little green snacking is perfectly fine!

When your pet's ear suddenly looks like a balloon, it's called an aural hematoma. 👂

This happens when blood collects between the skin and cartilage of the ear flap, usually from too much head shaking or scratching. The good news? It's very treatable!

Our Aural Hematoma blog covers everything from what causes these puffy ears to the treatment options that can help your pet feel comfortable again.

Seizures can be scary for pet parents, but understanding what's happening helps you stay calm and keep your pet safe. 🧠

Our Seizure blog breaks down everything you need to know - from what seizures look like to when they're emergencies. Not all seizures involve dramatic convulsions - some can be as subtle as staring into space or snapping at invisible flies.

The key? Stay calm, keep them safe, and know when to call for help. Knowledge is power when it comes to your pet's health! ⚡️

Your vet can't see you today. The ER has a four-hour wait. That's exactly where we come in!

Most people don't even know urgent care for pets exists. We sit right between your primary vet and the emergency room for all those "sick, injured, or just not feeling right" visits.

That's exactly our lane - and here's the part that surprises people the most: we're open when you actually need us! Same-day appointments, walk-ins welcome, and no emergency room prices.

Ruby fills the gap that every pet parent needs. 🐾

Not all healthy human snacks are safe for dogs! 🍇

Grapes might seem harmless, but they can cause serious problems for our furry friends. Every dog reacts differently - some might be fine while others could get very sick from just one grape.

Since we can't predict how your specific dog will react, it's always best to keep grapes (and raisins!) completely away from curious pups.

When in doubt, stick to dog-safe treats. Your pup will be just as happy with their regular snacks! 🐕

Your dog keeps having bathroom accidents even after finishing antibiotics. Here's why.

We had two dogs come in with the same symptoms and same treatment - but very different stories. Both seemed to get better, then symptoms came right back.

Here's what you need to know: just because symptoms are gone doesn't mean the infection is gone. Sometimes you need a urine culture, not just a urinalysis. This tells us exactly which bacteria are present and which antibiotics work best.

Plot twist - one dog didn't even have a bacterial infection at all!

If your dog's UTI keeps coming back, visit Ruby and we'll find the real answers fast. 🔍

When pet parents think their cat got into human medication, we take it seriously - even when the cat looks perfectly fine.

This case had a happy ending when the owners found the missing Tylenol capsule at home, completely intact. But we're so proud of them for bringing their cat in right away instead of waiting to see what happened.

Cats and human pain relievers don't mix well, so it's always better to be cautious. Quick action can make all the difference when it comes to keeping your feline friend safe.

Trust your instincts - if something seems off, give us a call! 🐱
