Our team is growing! Get to know Dr. Sayra Reyes 👋 ️👩‍⚕️👇

Originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico, Dr. Reyes discovered her love for animals early on and pursued her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Puerto Rico. She went on to earn her DVM from the Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine. With 15+ years of experience in emergency and critical care, her clinical interests include urinary obstructions, acute toxicities, and immune-mediated diseases (IMHA & ITP).

Off duty, she enjoys movie marathons, time with loved ones, and has a soft spot for corgis. 🐶 We’re so lucky to have Dr. Reyes on our team, bringing expertise, compassion, and dedication to every case she sees. ❤️

Poor Coco! 🐶 This sweet 5-year-old terrier mix came in after yelping in distress and acting a little off. Dr. Lex found signs of back pain likely caused by a slipped disc, a common issue in those breeds. Thankfully, Coco’s symptoms were caught early, and with some rest and medication, she’s already on the road to feeling better. We’re wishing her a smooth, speedy recovery!
