Please help us welcome Samson to the Wills Park Vet family! 🐾💙

This handsome guy came in as a new patient for his annual vaccines and did a great job during his visit. Keeping up with yearly vaccinations is one of the best ways to protect your pet from preventable diseases and keep them healthy for years to come.

We loved meeting Samson and look forward to seeing him again for future visits. Welcome, Samson! 🐶✨

Lillie came in yesterday for her spay surgery, and she quickly won over the hearts of everyone on our team! ❤️

While she recovered, Dr. Keller and the staff took turns carrying her around and giving her plenty of extra love and attention. Lillie returned the favor by showering everyone with kisses! 🐾💕

In this photo, she's busy "attacking" Jessica's ear with kisses—one of her favorite activities during recovery. We hope you're resting comfortably at home today, sweet girl!

Titan stopped by last week for his updated vaccines and a fresh bath, and he was such a handsome boy! 🐾🛁

Keeping up with vaccines is one of the most important ways to protect your dog’s health. Core vaccines help guard against serious and potentially life-threatening diseases, including:
• Rabies
• DAPP (Distemper/Parvo combination vaccine)
• Leptospirosis
• Bordetella (Kennel Cough)

These vaccines help protect not only your pet, but also other animals they come into contact with at parks, boarding facilities, groomers, daycare, and everyday outings. Staying current on vaccines is a simple step that can make a huge difference in your pet’s long-term health and safety. 💉🐶

Titan was all clean, updated, and ready for more adventures! 💙

Recovering from surgery can be tough on our pets, even after procedures like spays and neuters. 🐾💙 A little extra care at home goes a long way in helping them heal comfortably and safely.

Here are some common post-op tips:
• Keep activity restricted — no running, jumping, or rough play for 10-14 days
• Use the cone or recovery suit as directed to prevent licking the incision
• Monitor the incision daily for redness, swelling, discharge, or missing stitches
• Give all medications exactly as prescribed
• Expect some grogginess the first night, but contact your vet if your pet seems excessively lethargic, won’t eat, or is vomiting

The recovery period may not be their favorite, but it’s an important part of getting them back to feeling their best! 🐶🐱

Meet Hunter 🐾💛 This 2-month-old Labrador Retriever puppy was just as sweet as they come! We loved getting to meet this happy little guy during his visit.

Friendly reminder for all puppy parents: puppies need a series of booster vaccines starting around 8 weeks of age and continuing every 3-4 weeks until they are about 16-20 weeks old to help keep them protected as they grow. 🐶💉

We can’t wait to watch Hunter grow! 🐾

Cleo tried to make a great escape…straight into Dr. Keller’s office! 🐾😂 This sweet girl decided she’d much rather hide out with him than deal with her appointment—and honestly, we get it.

Cleo came in with an ear hematoma, which is when blood collects between the layers of the ear flap (the pinna). This often happens from head shaking or scratching, usually due to an underlying ear infection or irritation. It can make the ear look swollen, puffy, and uncomfortable.

The good news is it’s treatable, and we’re here to help get Cleo feeling better and back to her usual self—maybe just with a little less hiding next time! 💙

If you ever notice swelling in your pet’s ear or lots of head shaking, it’s best to have it checked out sooner rather than later.

Meet George! 🐾❤️

George is a new rescue who came in to see us and was diagnosed with heartworms. While we waited on his test results, he made himself right at home—deciding Dr. Keller’s office was the best place to hang out. We can’t say we blame him! 🐶

Heartworm disease is serious, but it’s also preventable. Transmitted by mosquitoes, heartworms can cause lasting damage to the heart and lungs if left untreated. That’s why keeping your pets on year-round heartworm prevention is so important—it’s a simple step that can make a huge difference in their long-term health.
