🐾💙 SPOTLIGHT PET: ROSIE SCOTT 💙🐾

Meet Rosie Scott — a sweet 12-year-old Domestic Shorthair with a big personality and an even bigger heart! 🐱💙

Recently, Rosie’s family noticed some subtle changes at home. She was drinking more water, using the litter box more often, and seemed lower energy than usual. Trusting their instincts, they brought Rosie in for an evaluation — and that decision made all the difference.

After diagnostic testing, Rosie was diagnosed with diabetes. While that news can feel overwhelming, her story is a reminder of how important early detection and routine veterinary care can be.

Common signs of diabetes in cats can include:
🐱 Increased thirst
🐱 Frequent urination
🐱 Weight loss despite a good appetite
🐱 Low energy
🐱 Weakness in the back legs
🐱 Changes in grooming or coat condition

As pets age, yearly wellness exams, blood work, and urinalysis become especially important to help catch medical concerns early.

The good news? 💉🥣 Many diabetic cats can still live long, happy lives with the right treatment plan, which may include:✨ Prescription diets✨ Insulin therapy✨ Weight management✨ Routine monitoring and follow-up care

Rosie is already doing great with her care team behind her, and her story is a reminder that those “small changes” at home are always worth checking out. 💙
